Ingredients

  • 15 sweet peppers or jalapenos 
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/8 oz package of cream cheese (softened)
  • 6 green onions 
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat: Fill your smoker box with hot coals and add your choice of wood chips. Preheat your grill to 275°F.
  • Prep: Split your peppers down the center, remove the seeds, chop your bacon into small to medium pieces, and mince your green onions.
  • Cook: Cook your bacon until it starts to crisp, then take it off; it will continue to cook in the peppers
  • Mix: In a bowl, combine the bacon, cream cheese, garlic powder, and green onions. Use this mixture to stuff your peppers.
  • Cook: Place the stuffed peppers on the grill grate. Cook for 15–20 minutes, or until the peppers are soft and have visible grill marks.
  • Serve: Remove from the grill, plate the peppers.
  • Serve and enjoy!
