Ingredients
- 15 sweet peppers or jalapenos
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1/8 oz package of cream cheese (softened)
- 6 green onions
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat: Fill your smoker box with hot coals and add your choice of wood chips. Preheat your grill to 275°F.
- Prep: Split your peppers down the center, remove the seeds, chop your bacon into small to medium pieces, and mince your green onions.
- Cook: Cook your bacon until it starts to crisp, then take it off; it will continue to cook in the peppers
- Mix: In a bowl, combine the bacon, cream cheese, garlic powder, and green onions. Use this mixture to stuff your peppers.
- Cook: Place the stuffed peppers on the grill grate. Cook for 15–20 minutes, or until the peppers are soft and have visible grill marks.
- Serve: Remove from the grill, plate the peppers.
- Serve and enjoy!
